Born on April 3 1965 in Karachi, Pakistan, Nazia Hassan was brought up in the city, but also spent time in London where she went on to study Business Administration and Economics at the Richmond American University.

In his post, Zoheb reminisced about Tata's significant influence on both his and his sister Nazia Hassan’s musical journeys. He shared that when he was starting his music business, CBS India, Tata approached him to produce an album for the newly formed label. Zoheb also confessed that during their initial meeting, he was unaware of Tata’s identity.
He also revealed how a casual phone call marked the beginning of their association with CBS India, the Tata music company. "My name is Ratan, and I am starting a music company by the name of CBS India. I would like you and Zoheb to record an album for us if possible,” the tycoon had said.
